Dr Ann Nevill

ADr Ann Nevill is a pioneer of integrative veterinary care in Victoria, with decades of experience behind her. In 1994 she founded South Road Animal Health in Bentleigh — going on to build one of the state's largest and most diverse alternative veterinary practices — driven by a conviction that animals deserve more than drugs that suppress symptoms.
Her approach blends the best of Western medicine with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, acupuncture, and herbal and nutritional therapies. Rather than simply treating symptoms, Ann works with the immune system to prevent and resolve disease, drawing on excellent diagnostics and years of clinical experience. She is known for the difficult cases — animals whose owners have tried everything else and come to her as a last resort — and she continues to bring that same integrative philosophy to her patients here at Wattletree.

Dr Jennie Yang brings rigorous scientific training — a bachelor's and master's degree from Henan Agricultural University, a Master of Science from Nanjing Agricultural University, and a Master of Science in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law from the University of Edinburgh. She has clinical interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and diagnostic ultrasound. As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, she blends conventional care with acupuncture and herbal therapy to treat each animal at Wattletree as a whole.
